What is considered the healthy body mass index for a female 5'6" in height?

Hi Juliette and thank you for your post. A healthy body mass index for a female 5'6" in height would be 11st 3lb. So your BMI would be 25 But adults with a very athletic build eg, professional athletes could show as overweight so this would be a rough guide hope this helps and please get back to us if you need any more help.

Well less than 18.5 would be underweight
18.5 - 25 would be healthy
25 - 30 overweight
30+ very overweight

It is hard for me to see where you come because i dont know your weight.
